Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

Started with an email from a TriMech recruiter discussing job expectations and salary. I completed a questionnaire that was sent with my resume to the hiring manager. She wanted to proceed, and we had a brief phone conversation. Following that, I interviewed locally with the sales manager and VP. It was a challenging but productive interview. Later that week, I was told I was the leading candidate. Since my work location was remote, I was invited to have lunch with the local employees. Then, I arranged a trip to the headquarters for another round of interviews, with all expenses covered. After that, I had a phone call with a senior executive in the main Richmond office. In the subsequent round, I had breakfast and lunch and met with six different people. They conducted interviews in pairs to be more efficient, and it felt more relaxed. I asked a lot of questions about the role, and they were very open. A few days after my visit to Richmond, I received notification that I would be offered the position. It took a few days to finalize the offer and commission details. It was great to get so much job information upfront. My advice is to be yourself and let your personality show. Look into Sandler Training, it will be very helpful.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I was contacted by a really nice recruiter to start. I then interviewed with the hiring manager via phone and in person, and it seemed like a good fit. However, the rest of the process was inconsistent and felt like I was always chasing people for information. I had to do a web presentation about the industry, which most people liked, though one person thought it was too salesy. After talking about compensation, I was supposed to hear from marketing to set up a HQ visit. Instead, I ended up in what felt like another initial interview with the same person who called my presentation too salesy. They denied being in the presentation, which made me realize they weren't someone I wanted to work for. This whole confusing process took about 9 weeks and made me not pursue other jobs aggressively. If you're an engineer with little sales experience, this might be okay, but otherwise, it's probably not worth your time.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was multi-stage, it started with a phone call, then an in person formal interview with the hiring manager, sales manager, and CEO. Later, I was called back for another interview with the engineering manager and team lead. Overall, it wasn't a hard interview, at the time they were a rather small company so hiring the right person for the job was very important. Everyone in the interview process was very personable, none of the questions were very difficult, they are really just looking to see if they can work with you.
