I applied through LinkedIn with my resume. I first had some phone chats with HR and the Hiring Manager. Then, I visited the office for an in-person interview, which involved two separate trips. After that, they arranged phone calls with some senior leaders at the corporate office. All the interviews were one-on-one and felt pretty relaxed, mainly focused on getting to know each other. We talked about my experience, and they shared details about the role and the company's vibe.

After I applied, HR reached out pretty fast to set up an interview. On the interview day, I first met with an HR person, who was really nice. Then I met the accounting manager. He basically interrogated me. I could tell he disliked me from the beginning and didn't even bother to hide it. The worst part is I never heard back from the company. It's super unprofessional to just ghost someone after an interview. A simple email saying they're going with other candidates would be fine, I'd understand that, but to ignore the time I took to meet them is just rude.

I was interviewed by the HR generalist and chain job manager. First we talked about my current role and what I could bring to the position. We reviewed the requirements and responsibilities, and I was told they'd get back to me if they wanted to move forward. A few days later, I followed up with the HR generalist, Amanda Abouhassan. She mentioned the hiring process takes three weeks and no decision was close. Two days after that, I got an email saying they selected another candidate. I'm wondering why I was told the process takes three weeks and no decision was close, as it feels disingenuous.
