First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trillium Health Partners.
Registered Nurse
There were usually about 3 people interviewing me. The panel included the manager, a clinical educator, and an HR rep. The interview took about 30 minutes and consisted of many behavioral questions. It's good to have a few scenarios prepared to discuss.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed it?
Registered Nurse
The process was really quick. They responded fast when I had questions. My interview was over the phone, and they were super nice and easy to talk to. They asked me questions about what I'd do in certain situations and how I'd handle practical nursing tasks. They also asked about my personality to get a sense of how I'd fit in and perform on the job.
- How would you approach a hypothetical situation?
- Can you describe a real-world scenario where your nursing skills were put to the test?
- How do you think critically when faced with a problem?
Registered Nurse
Had my consolidation in the unit. Had a 30-minute talk with the nurse manager, assistant manager, and educator. It was friendly and they asked for my NCLEX exam date. I got a call back after 3 days for a reference check, then got called back after 1 week with an offer.
- What is your understanding of culturally-competent care?
- What are your career goals for the next 5 years?
- Can you share an instance where you managed a conflict?
