First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trillium Brewing Company.
Server/Waiter
I was expecting more for such a big company, but for a front of house position, my background and personality went a long way.
- How adaptable are you to changes on the job, given the dynamic nature of front-of-house roles?
Barstaff
Got a call out of the blue at 8pm, then they emailed a rejection 10 minutes after. It didn't really bother me, but that whole management style was pretty unimpressive.
- What motivated your interest in this particular place?
Event Staff
Had a phone screen, then a week later met with two event managers and chatted briefly with the general manager. They asked standard questions about my experience and why I was interested in the job. About a week after that, I got an offer after they did a reference check.
- What are your main strengths when it comes to work or being part of a team?
Graphic Designer
Super quick interview process, took about 3 weeks to get to the end. They were always super responsive and answered questions fast. Did a standard zoom interview, then a secondary in-person interview after we were given a project to complete in a week.
- What makes you want to join this company?
