I went through 2 interviews with pretty fast turnaround times. They asked some really basic questions, and each interview was about 30 minutes to an hour long. I only had two interviews because I ended up on a different team than the one I initially applied for.

The management team conducted a very impressive interview. They described the company and the role with great detail. I appreciated this as I expect transparency on both sides of the table during interviews. There were some cliché questions you'd expect in an interview, but also some more thought proving ones that were meant to reveal some of the applicants soft skills. Despite those questions, they created a light atmosphere for interviewees - which seems to carry over to the day to day for the staff.

It felt pretty casual. The project manager I spoke with was friendly. I asked for an email to confirm the interview date and location beforehand just to be sure, and she seemed to make a big deal out of it. A really strange thing she told me was that I wouldn't get any call or notice if I didn't get the offer. It's common not to hear back when you apply, but I've never actually gone to an interview and then not been contacted. I thought that reflected poorly on the company.

The interview process began with an initial phone screen, followed by a video interview. The interview was quite direct and to the point. Some interviewers like to build rapport by having friendly conversations; they stuck to typical interview questions. I got the job offer in under a week.
