First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trig.
Sales
I got a call to book an interview with the director, but first they asked me some basic questions like if I was looking for full-time, what interested me about face-to-face sales, and what I was looking to get out of a position. Then I was booked for an interview with the director. She was very transparent, honest, and thorough. She asked if I had any questions at the end, and I didn't. She challenged me with questions about my skill sets and how they'd be an asset, asking for examples and how they'd transfer to sales. She also asked what I was looking for in a career path or job, and when I said growth, she asked four follow-up questions about it. She brought up rejection in sales and asked how I'd handle it. She gave me a situation and asked what I would do to de-escalate it. She then walked through the training process. I asked her about growth and moving up, and she described four different avenues. She was very transparent about pay, even showing recent pay stubs. She clarified it's not a 1099, explained their sales system, payroll system, and benefit structure. She made sure it was a good fit for both sides and didn't guarantee the position. She was tough, but I appreciated her transparency, honesty, and engagement, which is what I've always wanted in coaching and feedback.
- Can you describe in detail what growth specifically looks like for you and explain why it is important to you?
Brand Representative
I applied through Indeed and a staffing agency called me to screen me and then booked me for an interview with the President. The interview with the president was about 35 minutes and they asked a lot of questions to get to know me, challenge me, and make sure I understood. Then they called me back and took feedback/gave feedback. They offered me the position and then onboarding.
- Can you describe what success means to you?
- Regarding your strength in training, how do you approach replicating a process or thought process?
- What are your strongest skillsets and provide reasoning?
Account Manager
The whole interview process went by fast, but it was also really thorough. I think we got through all the interviews in about a week, which was super helpful. They were clear about where I stood in the process and what was coming up next. I also got plenty of chances to ask my own questions to make sure the company and the role were a good fit for my future career goals.
- What's prompting your job search?
Sales Manager
The process was really quick. I wasn't fully ready to answer questions. The interviewer spoke quickly, which made it hard for me to keep up. I don't remember applying, but they found my contact info.
- What is your unique selling proposition?
