It was a typical interview for an outbound sales role. They asked about prospecting and if I'm okay with cold calling. Also, questions about managing relationships, talking to clients, and following up.

I put in my application online and sent my resume and cover letter. A couple months later, they reached out asking to chat. The first call was pretty short, around 10 minutes, where I just talked about my resume and experience. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview. This was with two supervisors. I talked through my resume and experience again, but this time with more detail. They asked me questions about what I've done before and where I see myself going. It was supposed to be 30 minutes, but we ended up talking for about 45-50 minutes because they were interested in hearing more.

I applied for the job on indeed.com, and a recruiter contacted me pretty quickly via email to set up a phone call for the next day. The call happened, and she asked me some basic qualifying questions before inviting me for an in-person interview at their headquarters in Baltimore. We scheduled the in-person meeting, and she said she'd confirm the details via email, including who I'd be meeting with and the exact location and time. The face-to-face interview went well. I answered general questions about my skills and experience, talked about what kind of work environment I prefer, confirmed I'd be a good match for the role, and thanked her for her time. I was told I should expect to hear back within about a week. She mentioned she'd interviewed one other person and still had four more to see. As of now, I haven't heard back, but it's been less than seven days.

First I had a call with HR for some general HR questions. Then a call with the VP where they asked me questions about my background and experience, all from my resume. After that, there was a take-home test which was a really interesting challenge. It involved doing an exploratory analysis on Facebook posts data where I got to pick my own goal and work on it. The onsite was 4 rounds: first with the VP of Engineering, asking general questions about my resume and the work involved. Second, with the Data and AI team, I had to explain my take-home test and answer questions about it. Third, with a Sr. Data Scientist, they asked about my experience and some situation-based questions. Fourth, with a Managing Partner, I'm not really sure why this round happened, neither of us knew what to ask or discuss. Just a heads up, HR didn't schedule any lunch breaks or provide food, it was a solid 4 hours of interviews straight. I had to grab lunch on my own when the 3rd round finished a bit early. They also don't tell you why you didn't get the job.
