First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tribeca Enterprises.
Box Office Agent
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked about my previous box office and festival experience. When I interviewed, all agents were required to work in-person, as remote work wasn't an option.
- Can you list your transferable skills and previous box office experience?
Graphic Designer
The interview was a good experience, very professional. The people were nice, asked good questions, and explained the job well. I felt good about it all, it was positive.
- How do you deal with feedback, especially from non-designers?
Writer
I was called into the interview at their offices, went in and met with the manager and fellow writer. We sat at the entrance to the offices, by the secretary. They described what they did and asked me several questions about my interests and quickness with writing. They emphasized that we would have to stay late some days and the turn-around for coverage was fast. It was very laid-back and easy; they were very kind and open.
- What specific fields are you interested in?
Festival
Got an email with job details and set up an interview after saying I was interested. Went in for an in-person interview with the department manager and coordinators, three people total. We talked about what the job needs, and they asked about my skills and what I'm into. Pretty standard interview stuff and questions.
- Can you explain why you're a good fit for the fast-paced festival environment?
