The first couple of steps, like a recruiter chat and an online tech test, were easy. But the first actual interview with the head of testing was a mess. We talked about my previous jobs for about an hour, which was okay. But the feedback was really weird. He said I hadn't done stuff I told him I had, that I didn't answer questions I actually did answer (if he didn't like my answers, he should've said so, not pretend I was silent), and claimed I couldn't answer questions he never even asked. It felt like he was just looking for any excuse to reject me and just made things up when he couldn't find a real reason.

The interview process included two rounds. The first involved discussing my favorite project and answering typical behavioral questions like 'tell me about a time when...'. The second round was a workshop where I was given a problem beforehand and had to lead a workshop session. It was enjoyable but challenging due to time limitations. Thorough preparation is crucial.

It was a pretty long interview process. Started with an HR chat, and if that went well, I spoke with a manager from one of the publisher teams. If the manager was impressed, the next step was a big team presentation (like 10-20 people) with a PowerPoint. They said they'd get back to me in about a week. When I followed up, they said they'd follow up again in another week. This kept happening for about two and a half months until they finally offered me the job.

It was a good experience. It began with a phone interview, after which I met with about 4 to 5 team members. The questions weren't overly challenging, mostly focusing on my work history and my understanding of the Triad and Digital Advertising industries. About two weeks after completing the process, I got a job offer and felt it was a good match.
