I was sourced by a 3rd party agency who sent my resume and salary needs to the company. The whole process was fast, under two weeks. I had one virtual interview and then two in-person interviews, one with the CEO. Everyone was nice. I figured I'd get an offer, but it was way below my salary needs, like $25k less than the minimum. It's weird they interviewed me if they couldn't meet my requirements. It's too risky, especially since the CEO mentioned firing people within 60 days if they don't meet expectations. This place could be good if they remembered these jobs support families and aren't just a job, but livelihoods, and weren't so quick to dismiss that.

Applied online and was selected for an online video interview. Each question had two attempts. There were 30 seconds to read each question and 1 minute 30 seconds to answer. Responses were recorded, reviewed, and re-recorded if another attempt was available, then submitted before moving to the next question. Questions couldn't be reviewed beforehand, so you had to be ready to read and respond within 30 seconds, as recording started automatically after the timer ran out. There was minimal time to prepare. While real-time interviews can also be nerve-wracking, I found this video format more stressful than a one-on-one conversational interview due to the time constraints.

The interview process was pretty fast and felt really relaxed. It was one of the best ones I've had. It was a group interview with a few managers from different departments. They were really upfront about the company and the kind of person they were looking for to fill the role. Overall, it was a great experience, for an interview.

So, for this IT Support Specialist job, there's a few steps. First, you'll chat with the internal recruiter. Then, there's a video call with the manager you'd be reporting to. After that, another video call with the project manager from the MSP. The final step is an on-site meeting with a C-suite executive. This is a new internal IT role to work alongside their MSP.
