So I applied and HR reached out a week later to schedule an interview, which was cool bc other places just ghosted me. I did two interviews and they went great, had good talks with nice people and learned about how things worked there, I could def see myself there. But then HR just stopped responding after the second interview. I emailed again, still nothing. It took two weeks to hear back for a third interview, but the email had no dates or times or even mention the job title, which was super frustrating and made me lose interest. I emailed again, giving them the benefit of the doubt bc of the holidays. Four days later, I got another email saying it was a mistake and I wasn't moving forward. I felt embarrassed for them, honestly. Hope they can improve their communication with candidates. Thanks for the opportunity.

This was a really long interview process, taking about two months with four total interviews. It included a panel interview with people I would be working with closely. The questions were good, and everyone was nice. I felt like an offer was likely. However, after the final interview, I didn't hear anything for over two weeks. When I followed up, I just got a generic rejection email, which was disappointing given how much time I invested and how the company supposedly values connection. It felt very impersonal, which contradicts their stated values.

The interviews were a series of group interviews that were prefaced as informal but really left the interviewee in the position of having to be a "culture fit" off the bat in rooms filled with potential colleagues. This made it more difficult to focus as I also had to read many personalities at once. This also felt less ideal for DEI reasons. Additionally, the second group interview was in a conference room with a table full of leadership people, and there was not a single woman in the room.

There were four panel interviews, all conducted via Google Meet. The seniority of the interviewers increased with each subsequent meeting, with the final one including the company owner. Everyone asked questions, and then I was given time at the end to ask my own. People were quite responsive and open to discussing their experiences.
