Data Scientist
So first, there was this Online test which was technical, and a lot of people got shortlisted from it. Right after that, on the same day, we had another Online test for communication, and no one was shortlisted after that round. Then came Technical Interview-1 and Technical Interview-2, and finally, the HR Interview.
- Coding question on DSA
- Coding question on SQL
- Coding question on ML
Data Scientist
The interview process started with a coding round that had 3 questions: one very tough SQL question and two very tough DSA questions. There were also MCQs covering data science, ML, and aptitude. This was followed by two technical interviews and one 1-hour round specifically for data science.
- They asked me to solve DSA questions live.
- They asked mostly about SQL.
- They asked about some machine learning algorithms like logistic regression.
Data Scientist
The interview process was a mess. Scheduling was chaotic; one round got rescheduled after I was already in the meeting, then moved up. I agreed to a final round late in the evening, but the interviewer was rude and rushed. Then, they called saying they wanted to do a third round again. I already had another offer and my joining date was close. I asked to move it up, but they declined, asked about my offer, and couldn't match the compensation. By the time they wanted to interview me, I had already started a new job. It was a terrible experience due to poor communication, constant rescheduling, lack of professionalism, and not meeting salary expectations.
- Can you discuss ML theory?
- What's your past experience with building ML models?
- Explain your choice of model for a past project.
