First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tredence.
Business Analyst
3 virtual rounds happened. The first round was a technical round focused on SQL and Tableau. The second round was a business round covering your understanding and past projects. The third round was a mix of business and technical, discussing how to solve business problems using methodologies. After these rounds, there was an HR round for salary negotiation.
- What are the basics and theory behind SQL and Tableau?
- Can you write SQL queries for the count of orders?
- Can you write SQL queries for shipping losses?
Business Analyst
The interview process was quite good. The interviewers were fair in their questioning and didn't ask questions that were technically sound but irrelevant to the industry. Although I applied for a BA role, during the interview, they realized I might be a better fit for a Sr. BA position. I'm very thankful to Tredence for this wonderful interview experience.
- Could you answer some SQL questions that require knowledge on RANK() and SUM() OVER()?
- Do you have knowledge of LEAD()?
- Do you have knowledge of LAG()?
Business Analyst
I managed to get through all 4 interview rounds which took up the whole day. The first round was a technical one focused on SQL queries like basic joins. The second round was optional and for my profile, it was another technical round where I had to answer Python questions. The third round was a business-focused case study to check my problem-solving and decision-making skills, where they cared more about my approach than the answer itself. The final round was with a manager, testing my domain knowledge and some basic HR questions. The HR team was pretty bad, they never updated me on my offer status, very unprofessional and negligent.
- Can you explain CTE expressions?
- How do you perform basic joins in SQL?
