I was recommended to the recruiter by my classmate in May from US. The whole process took 2 weeks. This was the best interviewing experience ever. First technical round. Second Business/Case study. Third, Co-founder conversation. The decision was made up till then. Fourth round was conversation with CTO, also co-founder. Everyone chatted with you first, got to know you not through "tell me about yourself". They were very transparent and tried to give as much information as they could. Through the fantastic talk with different persons in this company, I got more and more excited to join the company. HR was also very nice and efficient, providing feedback and necessary information for you to prepare. The interview was a little bit dense, sometimes in non-working hours due to the timezone issues. However, it was good for me to move fast during those days.

The interview process had three main parts. First, there was an online assessment with analytical reasoning, quantitative tests, and pseudocode. The first two sections were simple, but the pseudocode part was time-consuming, focusing on accuracy over completion. Second, a video call involved an optimization problem; it's important to explain your approach as they evaluate your thinking and communication. Lastly, an in-person interview in Chicago included meetings with the Head of Analytics and the Head of Customer Success. One of these individuals would probe your technical background, while the other would present another optimization problem.

I was referred here by a common friend who works in California. About 15-20 days later, I got an interview scheduled with the Indian branch, even though I was in Boston, MA. The interviewers' video feeds were hidden on Skype, as they were evaluating candidates from India. The role I originally applied for was Data Scientist, but due to my limited experience, I was considered for an Associate role instead. The first round was an Advanced SQL interview. I suggest reviewing 'Group by', 'window functions', and 'common table expressions'. Unfortunately, I was rejected because I'm more of a Python person and lack practical experience in Advanced SQL.
