Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Treasury Wine Estates.
Sales
I went through more than six interviews before they made a decision.
- The most unexpected thing was when they hired me and then said I was also hired to run the team.
Inside Sales Representative
I had a phone call with the talent acquisition team first. Then, I had an hour-long Teams meeting with two managers. It was a great way to learn about the roles and see if I was a good fit for them. After that, I had an in-person interview with my direct manager and the person they report to. The second interview was very structured and used the STAR method. They were clear about the timelines.
- Can you describe a work challenge or conflict and how you handled it?
Sales Representative
I had 3 interviews with multiple people to discuss the role. I enjoyed going into depth about all aspects of the job and meeting multiple people. It was really good to get a full understanding of what the role's day to day and what was to be expected. I would say the initial interview with HR was hard to organise and the person spelt my name wrong a few times.
- Tell me about your previous roles and how they relate to this role.
