First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Treace Medical Concepts,.
Sales Associate
I went through 2 rounds of interviews. It was pretty basic, and it seemed like they were mainly focused on how I could drive SALES, even though they claimed to be looking for team-building skills. The people were nice, but the whole process took a long time. Scheduling was tough because people were always traveling or out of the office, which slowed down communication. What was really frustrating was being promised a third interview, even after following up, and then hearing nothing. I eventually got an email two months later saying they hired someone internally. It felt a bit lazy, but at least they remembered me.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What motivates you to want to work for this company?
- What is your background in sales?
Marketing
The interview process was straightforward and efficient. This is a company of focused, professional individuals who know exactly what they're looking for in potential team members.
- What did you learn about our company during your research?
Sales Representative
I was referred into this role by a rep who has been here a while. After mentioning I was open to relocation because I really wanted to work for the company and was willing to put in the time, I was basically told not to look at other roles because this one was mine. A month and a half later, I was informed I was too qualified for the specific territory, but a good fit for Treace and would be put in touch with other managers. In the meantime, other jobs I was interested in had already been filled. I felt like the hiring teams were just giving me the runaround and not being upfront. I would have preferred more honest feedback about whether I was a good fit or not. Also, my referring rep felt my interaction with them was not positive.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
Product Development Engineer
We started with some chill conversations, some on the phone and some in person. Then I had lunch with two of the senior folks. The whole thing wrapped up with me giving a presentation to all the engineers.
- The presentation part of the interview process for engineers here can cover pretty much anything, like a project you've worked on, a bit about yourself, or your ideas about vision and mission.
