First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TRC.
Consultant
HR reached out to inquire about my salary expectations. Then HR set up a one-hour meeting with the team members. The interview seemed to go well, and the team indicated they would respond within a week. However, I haven't heard back, possibly due to the year-end holidays and leadership being on vacation.
- What makes you want to join TRC?
Sustainability Intern
The first interview was a super easy prescreening where they just asked about my experience. Then, I had a second interview with the head of the team I'd be joining, and that was also really laid back.
- Could you share which classes you enjoyed the most?
Project Engineer
I did a video interview over Teams, it lasted about an hour and we went over my resume. We talked about the job expectations and what day-to-day tasks might look like. They described the differences between in-person and remote work and who the manager would be.
- What do you most want to gain from this role?
Intern
It was a pretty standard interview. They asked me situational questions, questions about my background and the classes I've taken. They gave me a tour of the office. I spoke with 3 engineers who each took turns asking me things.
- Tell me about a time you experienced conflict in a work setting and how you handled it.
