The interview process included an initial HR call, followed by a technical phone screen. Then there was another HR call, leading into an onsite interview which covered coding, design, and behavioral aspects. After the onsite, another HR call took place, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and then the Technical Director. It felt like too many steps for a smaller company. The HR calls were quite lengthy, about 30-40 minutes each. They took a 10-day break after the final interview, perhaps looking for someone less expensive. The coding and design challenges were relatively easy compared to FAANG companies.

Behavioral Technical

Had a recruiter call, then a take-home exercise that took me about 2 hours. After that, there was a manager call. They said they would discuss the take-home exercise during the interview, but we never actually talked about it. I was rejected after that with no feedback, and even after sending two emails asking for feedback, I got no response. It felt like a total waste of time.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Standard behavioral questions were asked.
  • The take-home exercise was proprietary and challenging to understand.

The recruiter was super professional and friendly, they checked in before and after each interview stage to prep me and review how things went. The interviewers were also really nice and approachable, trying to make it low-stress and giving feedback along the way.
