First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tray.ai.
Account Executive
Started with screening calls from recruiters, then went up to senior sales leaders. They asked about my background, why I was interested in Tray, and how I handle situations. My last call was with a senior sales leader who confirmed I would advance to the final round. Unfortunately, I never heard back after that call, despite multiple follow-ups with different people. The process was good until they ghosted me, which was disappointing and I wouldn't re-apply.
- What motivates your job change?
Account Executive
The interview process involved a significant presentation task, requiring me to create 17 slides and present on the product for ten minutes, which felt like a multi-hour project. During the presentation, I expected three interviewers from the company, but only one attended. Despite this, I inquired about proceeding with my application, and the interviewer indicated they would. I sent a follow-up thank you note and contacted my recruiting contact to express optimism. However, over a week later, I was informed they wouldn't move forward. Honestly, I wasn't too disappointed, as the experience didn't feel as positive as other interviews I was undergoing.
- Can you tell me about your sales strategies?
- What are your professional goals?
Account Executive
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I found the talent team to be really nice and welcoming, which made it easy to chat with them. I had a casual conversation before meeting with the department heads, some of my potential teammates, and the CRO.
- Can you tell me about the average deal size and cycle length in your last position?
- On average, how many opportunities did you handle each month/quarter in your previous role?
