Data Scientist
My interview experience with this company was really bad and unprofessional. The hiring manager kept cutting me off during our hour-long chat, not to ask for more info but just to butt in whenever she wanted. She didn't seem to know basic interview etiquette. Even though she interrupted me a lot, I was told I did well and that someone would contact me for the next step. But then, nothing. I emailed them to follow up, but still no reply, not even a rejection. I'm actually glad it ended there because a process this messy and rude, from HR to the manager, makes me think the job itself would be terrible. If that's how she manages people, it would be a nightmare to work for her. A company that lets someone act like that in interviews shows their true colors. Getting ghosted can be a good thing sometimes.

Data Science Intern
The interview was pretty average. It was my third round. Two interviewers were present; one focused on technical aspects, and the other on behavioral. A technical recruiter presented me with a scenario where I needed to apply an ML model and asked follow-up questions based on my response, though I felt a bit interrupted before finishing my answers.
- What's your strategy for dealing with missing data points?
- Can you describe how you would implement an ML model for a specific scenario?
- Following up on applying an ML model, what further questions would you ask or considerations would you have?
Data Scientist Intern
The interview process involved an online assessment (OA) that included questions about wine data and two BigQuery (BQ) problems. This was followed by a final round where they asked about my resume and several machine learning (ML) related questions, covering metrics, models, and features for loan applications. Overall, it was an average interview experience.
- When are precision and recall more critical in different situations?
- What metrics are used to evaluate machine learning models?
- Can you describe a machine learning model and its parts?
