I interviewed in December and the whole process took about 3 months. A recruiter contacted me in November to discuss compensation and the interview process, which went well. Then, I had a hiring manager round where we discussed my experience and how I'd fit the role. Finally, there was a panel round with three interviewers. They asked a lot about my experience and included an SQL whiteboarding session. I felt it went well. I was informed that the holidays would cause delays, which was understandable. I followed up for about a month after the interview. The recruiter initially gave positive feedback and said she'd update me soon. After a few weeks, she mentioned there was no update and she'd let me know when there was. I stopped following up and never heard back. I've accepted another offer, but I'm surprised by the lack of updates for two months. It seems difficult to let candidates know the decision. It was a really bad experience. P.S. It's been over 3 months, and I saw the job reposted today. I can't believe it.
