I recently interviewed at TransUnion, and it was a pretty good experience overall. The process felt pretty put-together and smooth. I got screened initially, and the recruiter was clear about what was next. The actual interviews had a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The interviewers were nice and seemed to know the role well. One thing that could be better is the speed of communication between stages; sometimes it felt like things dragged on a bit. But it didn't really ruin the experience. Basically, the interview process at TransUnion was decent. The team was respectful and the questions were relevant, though a faster timeline would make it even better.

The assessment round was pretty good. The first interview round for this data science role, however, was a really bad experience. The interviewer, who was a data engineer, admitted they didn't know data science and had to get someone else involved. The whole interview felt very template-driven and the interviewer's attitude was a bit disrespectful and discouraging. They acted like they knew everything and seemed to doubt my qualifications. I haven't seen the results, but I've already decided this isn't the place for me.
