First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Transportation Alliance Bank.
Relationship Manager
Got an email invite about a week after applying. The in-person interview was about another week later, and two people interviewed me. I sent a thank you email the same day, but heard nothing back. I followed up a week later, still nothing. Pretty much got ghosted.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error and what lessons you took away from it?
- In the context of closing banking deals, would you describe yourself as the accelerator or the decelerator?
Collateral Specialist
I got an interview request super fast, within 48 hours, and then interviewed just two days later. The manager I spoke with was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in what I knew and had done. The interview went great, and they basically offered me the job on the spot. I was really interested, but the pay cut was too much. If that wasn't an issue, I would have been excited to join the team.
- Can you describe a difficult situation you encountered with a coworker and explain how you resolved it?
Compliance Manager
The interview process included a thorough discussion with the Compliance Manager, who asked engaging questions. I learned about the company's future growth, benefits, and potential career paths. I also met with the direct line team before receiving a job offer. The manager seemed well-informed about current regulation risks.
- Can you give examples of high stress areas from your previous work experience?
- What is your approach when management declines to adhere to necessary regulations?
Account Manager
This was a really positive interview experience. They seemed to have a great understanding of what the Account Manager role entails and provided clear direction on the next steps. Communication was good, and everyone involved was attentive and made sure I understood everything.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
