Honestly, the work environment there wasn't great. You've got a lot of homeless people around, causing messes, and you can't really tell them anything. I wouldn't go back to work there, no matter what, unless they seriously upped the pay.

The interview was with two people and lasted 30 minutes. Some interviewers seemed more interested in security roles than residential advocate roles. Following the interview, there was a TB test at their location, a criminal background check, and required training for Service Point and HMIS.

Some of the interview questions were a bit confusing and felt repetitive. Most of them, though, were related to the job and how I manage people. It seemed like they asked the same question in a few different ways. I got the impression they had a very specific idea of the person they wanted to hire, which made me a little anxious. Even though I had some background on the agency, I still wasn't totally sure what they were looking for.
