Technical Support
First, there was an exam to measure the candidate's concentration and attention. Then, an interview with HR. After that, an interview with the Supervisor and Manager. Then, an interview with the Director. Finally, the Background Check stage (HireRight).
- Can we proceed with the technical interview in English?
Administrator
So I had two interviews, first one was with HR on the phone and the second one was with the hiring manager, also on the phone. Had a bit of a phone issue so I had to get HR to have the hiring manager call me back on a different number. It was all pretty fast and simple. The manager asked me some standard questions.

Technical Delivery Lead
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with three total rounds. It kicked off with a recruiter call, and then I spoke with some other folks from the company. The final round involved an in-person meeting. It was supposed to be 45 minutes with three interviewers, but one person only joined for the last 5 minutes. That last person surprised me by mentioning the role was shifting to Technical Project Management, which honestly wasn't a big deal for me given my background in Program and Project Management. My main frustration was finding this out right at the end, which meant I couldn't really emphasize my PM skills. About a week later, the recruiter called to say I was their top candidate and they wanted to offer me the job. However, they then dropped the bomb that the role wouldn't be remote anymore, but hybrid, which gave me a weird feeling since remote work was advertised initially. They had the recruiter deliver this news instead of telling me directly during the interview. I asked the recruiter if they could reconsider the remote option since that's what they advertised. Another week went by, and the job was posted again, still listed as virtual. This makes me think they aren't upfront and use WFH as a lure when it's actually hybrid. The recruiter eventually gave me an update saying the company changed their mind and now wants someone with at least 7 years of Project Management experience for this new job description. I have nearly 10 years of Project and Program management experience, I'm technical, and I've worked with Agile and waterfall methodologies. Just last week I was their best candidate, and now they're saying I don't have enough experience after I asked them to stick to their WFH advertisement. The role is still up as virtual as I write this. So, heads up, they're not transparent, which isn't a culture I align with. Definitely dodged a bullet.
- Can you introduce yourself and provide an overview of your experience?
Software Engineer
The hiring process was pretty straightforward. I had a couple of calls from my potential boss, covering the basics like where I had been working and general experience questions. Then I was called in for a face-to-face interview, with one manager in Dublin and another on a video call simultaneously. No surprise questions, they went over my experience again and discussed the job. Nothing unusual about the interview, especially since I was applying for a fairly junior role (a couple of years out of college).
- Can you provide examples of projects you've coded in the past and the technologies you used?
