First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tramontina.
Account Manager
The location was quite inconvenient and far away. The interview involved four people: two from HR, a Director, and a Manager. The Director seemed to intentionally disrupt my presentation, not allowing me to finish. However, the HR staff were sensible and let me conclude despite the constant interruptions.

Consultant
I went through an online hiring process, and unfortunately, the experience was quite confusing and frustrating, far from the organized and human image the interviewers presented of the company. Right at the start, they asked me to fill out, print, sign, and scan an application form, bearing all the costs. The dynamic was disorganized from the beginning. They opted for a group presentation with basic information about the role - something that, honestly, is only relevant for those who pass to the next phase. Then, they informed us they would conduct individual, 'timed' interviews, but without any clarity or coordination. I was instructed to leave the call and return after 30 minutes, with no further guidance. When I returned at the scheduled time, the first candidate was still being interviewed. I swallowed my embarrassment and waited a few more minutes, and when I tried again, another candidate (who technically should have been interviewed after me) had taken my slot. This or they just put him ahead of me without telling me. Only after contacting the outsourced HR did I actually get called, almost an hour after the scheduled start. As I was the last one interviewed, the mood was clearly already tired and heavy. During the interview, the format was extremely rigid. Most questions seemed to require only 'yes' or 'no' answers. Whenever I tried to provide even minimal context about my experience or develop an answer, I was interrupted. At several points, the feeling was that I was just filling out a form, not participating in a conversation to truly assess my profile. Some questions were excessively personal, like inquiries about my girlfriend's habits (whether she drank or smoked), which made me uncomfortable and didn't seem related to the role. On the other hand, when pertinent questions arose, like 'name one quality,' any attempt to explain was cut short abruptly, as in the case of answering 'I learn fast' and hearing only 'no, one word only.' Clearly, they just wanted to discard me as quickly as possible. I don't believe there was bad faith or anything personal, but it's evident that the process was poorly managed, tiring for everyone involved, and not very effective in fairly evaluating candidates. I left with the feeling that the interview happened more out of obligation than a real interest in listening. And, in practice, I had no space to truly present myself.
- Do the questions require yes or no answers, or at most, single-word responses?
Analista De Compras
I went through structured hiring processes. It started with resume screening, then an HR interview, and technical tests in Excel and quote analysis. When I met with managers, I talked about my background in negotiation, supplier development, data analysis, and managing the entire purchasing process. I also did practical case studies and had final interviews to make sure my profile and expectations were aligned.
- What are your expectations for the company?
Assistant
It was very relaxed and attentive. You can have a conversation without pressure. It's one person at a time and lasts about 15 minutes. They ask what you want to give the company, if you have skills for the area for which you were selected, and if you have schedule availability.
