First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trading Advantage.
Sales Advisor
It was pretty straightforward. They want to make sure you know how to call and talk to prospects without hesitation. They asked typical questions like how you would sell a package, about your finance background, and what makes the most successful people.
- What would your reaction be if the work week was extended from 40 hours to 55 hours?
Sales Advisor
It was a really professional interview. I spoke with the HR Recruiter and the Director of Sales. They were both dressed professionally, and I was too. We met in a very neat, sharp conference room. They asked me about my past experiences and why I'd be the best fit for the role. The interview lasted around 30-35 minutes. I'd say it was a standard corporate interview, but it actually went better than I expected.
- What is your source of motivation?
- Can you tell me about your past relevant sales experience?
- How do you handle problem-solving?
Sales Manager
I had an initial phone interview and then an interview with a couple of the managers when I came in and then a three day trial on the phone to make sure it was a good fit for both sides.
- What is your biggest weakness?
Director
It was a three step process. First, an initial interview. Then, a second interview. Finally, a three day trial!
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure, and how you transformed it into a positive outcome?
