The process started with a mobile task given my skills, so the interview questions leaned heavily on mobile iOS, with some full-stack knowledge needed too. HR also asked a lot of personality questions. There was a challenging code challenge that was hard to complete 100% perfectly, especially considering edge cases. The technical questions focused more on practical knowledge and experience rather than just theory. HR was in constant contact via phone and email, and they maintained a welcoming atmosphere throughout the extended process.

  • A fundamental algorithm question requiring manipulation of standard data structures.
  • Questions about designing database tables based on a provided scenario, and high-level architectural questions about code and class organization within a given context.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Right after I applied, the Talent Acquisition Specialist reached out. The initial contact was very straightforward, and they asked for a phone interview. Scheduling was a breeze; I just picked an open slot on their calendar app. They've been super responsive via email and phone throughout. The first interview was a 25-minute phone call where they immediately asked if I wanted to proceed. I said yes, and they set up a Zoom video chat with the direct manager that worked for both of us. It was supposed to be 30 minutes but ended up being 45, which was great – good conversation, not intense. Again, they asked if I wanted to move forward to a video chat with the US Director of Operations. They ended up liking me enough to skip that last interview and called me the next day with an offer. Email confirmation came fast, and the TAS was really helpful with any questions or counter-offers. I'm really pleased with how everything went and the people I interacted with. Excited to get started!

The interview process involved an informal telephone interview with the National Recruiter, followed by a casual coffee shop chat with the Market Sales Manager. The final stage was a Zoom interview with the Regional Sales Director West. This last Zoom interview is really the most important part of the whole process. Don't assume you've got the job just because you've completed the first two interviews; the interview with the Regional Sales Director West is basically 99.9% of the entire process.

Phone round, then Recruiter and Hiring Manager interviews. After that, there were in-person interviews for Development Team Lead, and two manager rounds. The recruiter's feedback was positive but they felt candidates weren't as aligned with current and future needs. Not sure what that meant exactly, possibly salary or maybe someone just didn't like me in the interview.
