Applied through the company website and got employee referrals. Had a phone interview with the hiring recruiter. It felt like it went great, but I noticed they hadn't read my resume and didn't know I used to work there. Got an assessment via email to finish in 30 minutes. After exactly two weeks of silence, I was informed I wasn't selected. I'll keep looking for other roles. It's a great company, and I'm hopeful for another chance.

I found the job posting on Linkedin and applied. The recruiter reached out within 2 days. The talent acquisition team was super communicative and transparent throughout. I felt like I was interviewing them as much as they were interviewing me. I met enough people to understand the company culture and be sure I could make an impact right away.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I applied online using LinkedIn's 'Easy Apply' feature. The recruiter messaged me the next business day to schedule a phone call via a calendar tool. The initial call involved the recruiter reviewing my background and discussing the company and role. Then, I got a take-home technical assessment with both backend and frontend coding questions. After submitting it, I was invited to interview with the Hiring Manager, who focused on my leadership and conflict resolution skills. Following that, I met with an Engineering Director and then a peer Engineering Manager for behavioral interviews covering past experiences, teamwork, and problem-solving. The last step was an interview with the CTO, who met me even while on PTO. We talked about potential role challenges and my past approaches. After the CTO interview, the recruiter called with a verbal offer, and then there was a short meeting with the Hiring Manager to go over final expectations and the written offer. The whole process, from application to offer, took about 4 weeks, which is pretty standard.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online for the Content Writer job. About a week later, the HR person reached out for a phone interview. It went well. I mentioned some of the bad reviews I saw, and she said the company had taken steps to fix things. I told her my salary expectations were around $60K, and she agreed that was reasonable. A few days later, I was asked to interview with the hiring manager. That interview also seemed good; we talked easily and discussed potential challenges and how my experience could help. After that, Trader contacted me to set up two more interviews with a manager and director. I gave them my availability, but after waiting a while, I was informed they chose another candidate. I thanked them and asked for feedback on my resume or interview skills, but I never heard back. I've hired people myself and know it's a process, but I was bummed to be told I was moving forward, then not.
