Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tracxn.
Researcher
I went through a case study round and after that got called for an interview, where I felt like I did well, but never got any update about whether I was selected or not. I also saw that the company posts the case study solutions they receive from candidates.
- Can you discuss the case study you were given?
Researcher
So first they asked me if I was interested in this role. Then I got a link for a 30-minute aptitude test with 12 math questions, and a case study where I had to sort 30 companies into given categories. If I passed that, there was a phone interview where they asked about the case study and checked my knowledge on it. They also asked why I applied and about my experience. After that, they'd let me know if I got selected.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in this role?
- Could you elaborate on the case study?
- Do you have the right knowledge about the case study?
Senior Researcher
The interview process was straightforward and easy to grasp, involving three main stages: an initial HR chat, followed by a reasoning test and then a writing sample for assessment. It was a basic and uncomplicated procedure.
- Can you write a sample?
- Can you complete a reasoning test?
