First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tracxn.
Senior Automation Engineer
Interviews went well but rejected after manager round without any reason. The process included an assignment, a technical interview with live coding, and a managerial interview that focused on past experience, projects, and salary expectations. It felt like a waste of time.
- How to convert a string to a number in Python?
Automation Engineer
I was interviewed for a tech automation lead position. The process involved 3 rounds. Round 1 had 20 MCQs and took 40 minutes, it was easy to clear. Round 2 was a programming test with 3 questions where they checked logic rather than syntax, I cleared this. Round 3 was a video call interview. The whole process took 2 weeks to complete. Unfortunately, I was not selected in the 3rd round.
- 20 multiple-choice questions were asked.
- A programming test consisting of 3 questions was administered.
- One programming question involved finding the missing number in an array.
Automation Engineer
I went for an interview at Tracxn Bengaluru in April. The interviews focus heavily on your programming logic and analytical skills. It started with a pen and paper test with 30 MCQs on programming basics. Next, there was a 60-minute programming round where you had to solve three coding problems, with an emphasis on logic over syntax; pseudocode was acceptable. After that, we were told to wait for a call if shortlisted. A few days later, I received an email and a call asking me to attend further rounds at their other office. I had an afternoon slot, and I was the only candidate scheduled then, as they apparently only call one person per slot. The first round that day was a face-to-face technical interview with two interviewers. I was asked to introduce myself and rate my programming skills on a scale of 5. They then posed four programming questions, mainly related to strings and arrays. The interview lasted about 45-50 minutes, and I was told HR would contact me.
- Questions about strings and arrays
- Questions on printing patterns
- Questions on sentence reversal
