First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trace3.
Intern
The interview process was really simple and pleasant, with great people. I first met with my potential manager, then I interviewed with the VP and director. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly. The recruiter was also very nice, and I appreciated that she shared the interviewers' names and LinkedIn profiles with me.

Data Center Engineer
I was doing contract work with Trace 3 and got a call from their recruiter about a full-time position. They mentioned I was the only candidate being considered, but I ended up going through multiple interviews. It started with phone calls and moved to several Zoom meetings. They kept adding more people to the interviews, and in the end, I didn't get the job. They still expect me to do contract work sometimes, even though they wasted about a month of my time.

Sales Operations Coordinator
I applied online and a few days later, I received an email asking for my availability for a phone screening. I responded quickly, and we spoke the next day. The recruiter seemed really interested and spent extra time discussing hiring, onboarding, training, and daily tasks. They ended the call positively. I sent a follow-up email with my availability and a question, and they said I'd hear back the next day about talking to the hiring manager because I was a good fit. Then, I heard nothing. I followed up again a week later, still no response. Feeling ghosted but hopeful because the role and company seemed great, I sent a final follow-up three weeks later. Still nothing. A full month after the initial interview, I finally got an automated email saying they were moving forward with other candidates. It was really disappointing to be led on like that.

Operations Specialist
I applied for the role on LinkedIn and then had a phone screen/interview scheduled pretty quickly, like a couple days later. Right off the bat, the recruiter was really rude and seemed totally not interested in anything I had to say. She kept cutting me off and just saying "okay, okay, next" while I was trying to talk about my resume. Normally you'd pause to let someone take notes, but she was rushing me so much I just stopped talking. After that whole disrespectful drill, she offered a salary that was $20K less than I asked for. Her response was "since you're not willing to go down at least $15K I don't believe this role is the right fit." I agreed it wasn't a good fit and ended the call right away. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
