Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring process generally has a few steps: first, there's an initial chat, usually a quick call, to see if you're generally a good fit. Then, you might have a first interview, which could be online or in person, with some of the team to check out your skills and experience. After that, if you make it, there's a bigger interview, maybe a full day, possibly at their office, where you'll meet more people and maybe do some exercises or case studies. They'll also do reference checks to confirm your background. Finally, if they choose you, they'll make an offer and you can talk about the details like salary and start date. They're looking at your experience, how you solve problems, how you communicate, if you fit with the company culture, and how interested you seem. It's all about them getting to know you and seeing if you're right for the job and the company.

Had a quick 10-minute phone chat about the job and golf stuff. Then got invited to a group interview with 5 others, lasted about 30-40 minutes. They told me to go get a drug test, and they are super strict about it even though you wouldn't think so with the caddy program culture. I went to lunch with my dad, and didn't realize the testing place closed less than 30 minutes after the group interview ended. The site was closed, so I did the test the next day, but corporate didn't take the late sample. Also did a 30-minute personality test over the phone.

I got interviewed on the spot when I first showed up! So, if you're applying, be ready for a possible chat right away. Then, a few days later, I had a second interview that went into more detail. I was hired for a training period that felt like a trial, and then I became a permanent employee with more duties, like having keys and being able to train other people.
