My interview was scheduled for 11:30, and I arrived about five minutes late. The interviewer seemed really rushed and was talking on the phone during our conversation, which I found unprofessional. She asked very few questions and just asked me to email her two references, saying she'd make a decision within a few weeks. After a few weeks passed, I had to reach out to inquire about the decision. It wasn't a great experience.

I sent in an application online and then got a call a few days later to set up an interview. When I arrived, there was a woman interviewing about 10 people at once. We had to read a big packet and then answer questions. All in all, I think you should plan to be there for about 2-3 hours.

My nursing school referred me to the agency. I applied online and they called me the same day and scheduled an interview for the next day. The interview went fine and they told me to bring my paperwork to the main office. Once the main office got my paperwork, they said there was a "pending" orientation and the coordinator would call me with a start date. I got scheduled for an orientation at the nursing facility within 2 weeks, which also went well.

I applied for the LPN job on Saturday through Career Builder, and a recruiter called me first thing Monday morning. They asked about my work history and experience. I was scheduled for an interview the next day at the Brooklyn location and was told to bring my LPN license, physical, ID, Social Security card, Resume, reference letters, and CPR card. When I mentioned it was impossible to get everything in 24 hours, the recruiter assured me to bring what I had and submit the rest later. At the interview, I filled out an application and took a medication exam, which felt outdated. Then, I was interviewed by a woman in a small room. She went over my work history and experience again. At the end, I was told I'd be scheduled for orientation within a few weeks and that the Orientation Coordinator would contact me. I guess I was hired on the spot. Over the next few weeks, I tried contacting the coordinator multiple times without success. Finally, I called the recruiter, and they said my info would be passed along. Later that day, the coordinator called to set up orientation for the following week. (Tip: if you can't reach your coordinator, call the recruiter manager). Orientation lasted 5 days and was very informative, covering policies and guidelines. For the next few days, I shadowed another LPN on different units (Psych, HIV, rehab). After orientation, I was told to contact another coordinator for scheduling my shifts.
