Title Clerk
The interview process was really strange. It started with a phone screen. Then, there was a round-robin interview where I met each staff member individually. I get this might have been due to COVID, but it's 2023. What was frustrating is that they had multiple openings for the same role. They picked someone for the first opening, then asked me to re-apply for the second role. I told them I have other offers and can't wait another three weeks for a callback and another interview. It's baffling to me that if you have two openings, you wouldn't just pick the top two candidates and train them simultaneously. Overall, it was a bad experience. This is a mid-sized credit union. I didn't get any follow-up or feedback from the hiring manager or HR. I used to be a hiring manager for two years at a big bank and always followed up with applicants, regardless of the outcome. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend Tower for employment to my friends. The credit union really needs to improve its HR processes.

Assistant Branch Manager
The interview process was alright. Andy Edafiogho called to ask a little about my job experiences he then set up an in-person interview at the Laurel location. When I got there I waited for 15 mins then Andy came down to take me in the interview room he asked me some questions then I waited for about 15 mins again and the Branch Manager and the Assistant Manager at the Laurel location came in to do the interview (mind you the location I applied for was in Clarksville) they were honestly all over the place with their questioners. The Branch Manager asked what would I do if an employee doesn't want to go to work? The interview took place Monday afternoon and Andy informed me that he will follow up with me on Wednesday or Thursday well let's just say he did not do that and it took him awhile to respond to me after I emailed him twice. Only to tell me that the position has been filled. Really not good at communicating and the interview questions could be a lot better. I've been in Management position a few times. I've been in Banking field since 2007 I've also been a Branch Manager. But I did not get the position.

Training & Development Specialist
I applied and heard back from a recruiter the very next day, but the audio quality was really bad on their voicemail and during the call. A few days later, the recruiter called to say the hiring manager wanted me to come in for an interview and a training presentation, but they only gave me one specific date and time, which was very early in the morning and soon. I tried to reschedule by leaving messages for the recruiter, but couldn't reach him. Later that day, a manager called to check on my interview and offered to help find other dates, but I never heard from her again. After a few more days, the recruiter finally contacted me again and said the hiring manager was checking her schedule and I'd hear back within a week. I followed up after a week, and the recruiter called back saying they thought an internal candidate might be interested, which turned out to be true. A few days later, I got an email saying they selected someone else. The whole process was really disorganized.

The first on-site interview was supposed to be with HR, but upon arrival, I had to take a 15-minute, 50-question assessment covering grammar, math, and logic. I finished 48, which I was told was a lot. Then I met with HR and was told the hiring manager was available. I was directed to a computer for another assessment about honesty and personal opinions, followed by a 20-minute wait before meeting the hiring manager. She commented on my last name and asked basic questions. During one of my answers, she interrupted to ask if I thought I talked too much and what triggers I used to stop myself. I was surprised and responded that I was trying to "sell" myself in a limited time. She then mentioned wanting me to meet her staff and that she had another candidate who was "perfect on paper." Two weeks later, HR called to schedule a second interview, but then called back an hour later to cancel it because the team's schedule didn't work. Three weeks after that, I met the staff, who seemed to rely on the hiring manager for guidance on questions and answers. Another three weeks passed with no contact, even after I sent thank you notes and checked in on the job status. Finally, between June 22 and July 22, I was informed the position was filled. They didn't contact me to inform me of their decision; I had to chase down HR, who seemed surprised I wanted to know. While the job likely wouldn't have been a good fit, their unprofessional recruiting process would make me advise against applying there unless absolutely desperate.
