Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Total Men's Primary Care.
Medical Assistant
It was a pretty simple interview process, actually one of the quickest I've experienced in my six years as a medical assistant. They're expanding fast, so it was quite easy to get through. I also really appreciated that it was an LGBT friendly environment.
- Were the questions practical?
- Were the questions to the point?
Nurse Practitioner
This interview was pretty unusual for an advanced practice provider role. They seemed really excited about it initially, then it felt like a car salesman pitch at the end. Phrases like "We love you man," "We never do this," and "Get back to us tomorrow or this deal is off the table" were used. If you're serious about this job, you should definitely have a lawyer look at the contract.
- Can you tell us about a hobby you enjoy?
Nurse Practitioner
The interview took place in a comfortable setting with a nice and welcoming regional manager. They mainly asked about the types of patients I have managed, rather than critical thinking questions. The manager was easy to talk to and could connect me with the right people for any questions they couldn't answer themselves.
- Tell me about the patients you have managed.
- Are you open to working with medical weight loss patients?
- Are you willing to provide IV hydration services?
Physician Assistant
Everyone that worked for the company was very friendly and welcoming. The company was very organized and had a great training timeline in place to ensure that you have enough time to become familiar with the pace of the clinic in order to succeed as a provider.
- What motivated you to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant?
