I had two interviews. The first was a Q&A with the recruiter and the site psychologist. It was relaxed and went well. The questions were reasonable, and I learned about the company's process. Since that went okay, I was contacted for a second performance interview. This interview was a good use of time and a good way to find out a candidate's skills. If you are a certificated special education teacher, neither interview will be too difficult or stressful.

The interview process was pretty laid back; they aim to make you feel at ease and are keen to understand your therapy approach as much as getting to know you. Initially, the HR manager chatted with me about potential clinic placements and the daily responsibilities. Following that, I had a conversation with the current SLP at TES. She asked typical interview questions, we discussed my responses, and she reassured me about training for the IEP process, given my limited school experience. Afterwards, the HR manager returned with paperwork regarding benefits. A couple of weeks later, he contacted me with a full-time offer, which I accepted. The entire experience was very low-stress and comfortable.

The interview process was well managed! The HR director, Jim, got back with me quickly after the first contact, was easily available through email, and was quick to set up an interview. When I arrived for the interview he was on time, the process was relaxing, friendly and it was clear he was interested in really getting to know my teaching style, my opinions, and wanted to know me as a person. Using this information he took great care in narrowing down charter school options and sent locations to me the next day. Unfortunately another opportunity opened up unexpectedly which I took, otherwise I would definitely be with TES! Great atmosphere to work in!

I filled out an online application and then had an in-person interview with a clinician. The interview itself felt a bit disorganized and all over the place, and the interviewer didn't seem fully prepared. Despite that, I think it went pretty well overall. They did manage to answer all my questions about the job, but it was just an average experience in the end.
