The interview process was through Torre, which uses artificial intelligence, open-ended questions, video recordings, and a comprehensive form asking for a lot of personal, work, and personality information. They compare all this information with the work team. Afterwards, there was an interview with the person in charge of the process.

It was a casual chat over Zoom. They let me ask questions first, then they asked me some questions. They mentioned their work stability is really low and they can fire people quickly, with a motto of 'Hire fast, fire faster'. There are no medical benefits or sick time. The pay is less than 50k with no bonus or commission, paid monthly. They're currently struggling in the US and North American markets and are still waiting on fundraising to see if they'll continue operations, meaning job loss is a risk. They'll ask you to sell random items to check your sales skills. They won't negotiate salary.

They will email you an API without any documentation, explanation of use, or examples. You'll need to figure out the API endpoints yourself by debugging their website remotely using a local proxy like Burpsuite to understand each endpoint's functionality. They want you to use the provided API to come up with a small demo project to prove your skills. Be warned, whether you get accepted or not, they might steal your ideas or features from your demo project for their platform, which happened to me. I don't recommend this company.

So I got contacted via Torre, and the interview was supposed to be with the CEO, but then it got changed to be with the CTO. The CTO interview was weird from the start, like he was a robot, totally emotionless. After some regular tech questions, the next part was to build something using their API. I was trying to figure out the API, but there weren't really any clear instructions on how to use it. I messaged the CTO for help, but didn't get much info, so I just dipped.
