The interview process involved general questions, it was pretty standard. They asked some scenario-based questions too. You might speak with both the hiring manager and the director, and then have a separate chat with HR. Both of these interviews felt pretty average, not overly challenging.

I applied online and HR got in touch pretty fast to set up an interview. I chose the in-person option because I live nearby, and it happened during a nursing open house where lots of departments were interviewing. I was interviewed by three nurses for about 15-20 minutes. I heard back the next day for a second interview with the nurse recruiter, which was scheduled for the following day. This time, the same three nurses were there, plus the Director of the department. The day after that, I got an offer. The whole thing was way faster than I thought it would be.

So I was really excited to interview for this job, it's been a passion of mine for a long time. But the interview experience was really bad, I actually walked out halfway through. The HR person I interviewed with was really dismissive and rude. She basically went through my application and pointed out everything she thought was wrong with it. I asked for a pen to fix things and she scoffed and said I should always carry one. She made comments like 'wow people really don't know how to fill out applications these days, have you EVER filled out an application before?!?' She also said my letter of recommendation wasn't valid. Given how poorly I was treated, I decided this wasn't a company I wanted to work for and told her I was withdrawing my application.
