So, to get into Toptal, first they look at your application to see if you've got the experience and skills for the job. Then, there's a test to check your English and make sure you're professional. After that, they dive deep into your skills – for designers, this means a portfolio review. Next, you'll have a live interview where you might have to critique a design or show off your portfolio, and explain your thinking. Following that, you'll get a test project, kind of like what you'd do for a client, which you'll have a few days to finish. Lastly, there's a final interview, maybe with someone from the core team, to chat about your work style, goals, and if you're a good fit. If all goes well, you're in!

So first, you'll have a chat with a recruiter or hiring manager to get things rolling. Then, there are some technical tests to see if you're up to speed with the tools and stuff. If you pass that, you'll go through a few more interviews with the team and project leads to check out your skills and see if you'd fit in. They might also ask some behavioral questions to see how you communicate and work with others. Lastly, they'll make a final decision on whether you're a good match, and if so, they'll send over a job offer with all the details.
