Project Manager
I applied online and then a recruiter reached out for a phone interview. After that, I got to the hiring manager interview, but they mentioned the pay wasn't what I was asking for. The second interview was on Zoom with the hiring manager and another team member. It was about an hour long and felt like it went well, they said I answered the questions great and that my experience was a good fit for the job description. A few days later, the recruiter emailed and left a voicemail saying they weren't going to move forward with me. They did offer feedback, which I accepted via email, but then they never responded back. The recruiter also had some grammar mistakes in their emails.
- Can you tell me about the programs you're familiar with?
Project Manager
I sent in my application online and heard back the very next day with an interview request. A 30-minute phone interview was set up for a week later. Then, about 7 days after that, I got a request for an in-person interview. Before the in-person meeting, there was a 12-minute assessment with 50 questions, the Wonderlic test, that I had to do at the company. It can be a bit nerve-wracking if you're not someone who performs well under test conditions. The overall vibe was good though, as the interviewers seemed genuinely interested when they asked questions and when I asked them stuff. The phone interview did feel a little hurried, but I guess that's how these screening calls go. The second interview wasn't so much about a list of questions; it was way more chill and relaxed, mostly just going over my resume and past work history in more detail.
- Can you tell me what you know about Top Hat and why you're interested in working with us?
- What's an area where you could improve?
- What aspects of your current job do you find less appealing?
Project Manager
Had a quick screen with an HR recruiter. They asked about the role, my experience, my studies, and when I'm available. Also asked some questions to see if I'd be a good culture fit. It seemed like a typical screening process, and the interviewer was nice.
- Tell me about a time you juggled multiple tasks simultaneously.
