Had a couple of interviews but no follow-up after the second one, even after I emailed them for updates. It's a fantastic company, but it felt like they didn't really consider people's time or treat the interviewee with respect.

The interview process was about 4-5 interviews long. It included a take-home design task and a case study presentation. The design task was an unpaid assignment, and the brief was strangely worded and too specific. They said not to spend too much time on it and to focus on any part of the design process, but this wasn't true. They expected 5+ hours of work because of competition. They criticized me for not doing an end-to-end process, even though the brief said it wasn't required. They seemed to think I couldn't create mock-ups, ignoring my portfolio. The interviewers were unfriendly and cold, making the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. My friend had a similar experience for a developer role where they expected her to create a whole app for an unpaid assignment, which she declined.

The interview process was friendly and open, with a few interviews spaced out over several weeks, but it took a while to get the final answer. The atmosphere was quite casual, and everything was done online. They mentioned they didn't have money for relocation if it was needed.
