Project Manager
There were a total of 5 interviews, though usually it's 4. The process started with an HR screening, then interviews with related departments in the same office, followed by the hiring manager. The final interview was with a program manager. However, I had an extra interview, making it 5 total. They wanted two additional program managers to interview me. The whole process took 4 weeks.
- Can you tell me about your experiences?
- Describe a difficult situation you encountered and how you resolved it.
- What would you do if a client needed a solution within two weeks, but the development team estimated four weeks for completion?
Project Manager
Got in touch via a network connection and sent my CV. Then had a chat with HR. After that, I spoke with my future manager (in English), followed by a meeting with the Director. Received a proposal after 14 days, which allowed for negotiation. It was a pretty smooth and quick process. The HR chat was a basic screening; the subsequent conversations focused more on the role and how I envisioned managing it.
- Standard questions were asked, including what you didn't like about the role and what KPIs you think should be given to the role.
- Also, there was a case study to work on. In short: what would you do if sales suddenly forwarded a contract and you had to ensure everything was set up correctly for the client, within a week...
Project Manager
The interview process was very professional. They asked about my background, and there were no trick questions. They checked my English level by asking me to read and translate a text from internal documentation. I had 3 interviews: one with HR, one with the Hiring Manager, and one with the Regional Director.
- Why are you changing your position?
- What is your level of English?
