Data Scientist
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for a position. The interview process began with a 1.5-hour TestGorilla assessment that tested my Python, ML, and statistics knowledge. After that, I encountered AI WayFaster-generated interview questions tailored to my resume and the job requirements. Unfortunately, this process ended in an immediate rejection, and I felt it wasn't a good use of my time. I wouldn't advise applying.

We have a clear roadmap for our hiring process. It starts with a Skill Assessment, followed by a Cognitive Assessment. Then there's an Online Recorded Interview. For Engineering and technical roles, we have a Live coding assessment. After that, you'll have an Interview with the Panel of Hiring Managers. The next step is a 1-Week Paid Trial, and then the Final Hiring Decision. Note: there will be a live coding session before the interview with the panel of hiring managers for technical and engineering roles.
- What are your salary expectations?
Quantitative Analyst
The process began with an HR screen, followed by a take-home assignment involving three Excel spreadsheets of cryptocurrency prices. I had to develop a trading strategy and prepare a presentation for the next stage. The subsequent interview was with the Team Manager and an Analyst. Surprisingly, the trading strategy wasn't discussed at all; instead, I was asked random crypto-related questions. The interview was cut short by an internet issue, and even after asking about rescheduling and the assignment, they weren't interested in my results. I was declined the same day, which felt like a complete waste of time due to their unprofessional recruitment.
- Tell us about yourself.
- Can you explain how to generate a random number without using the 'rand()' function?
- Are you familiar with the algorithms that underpin cryptocurrencies?
Financial Analyst Intern
the process was really long and negative. it started with an AI virtual interview, then they quickly moved me to a take-home assessment. this involved building a financial model and making a video presentation. after submitting and following up multiple times with no response, they finally reached out after a month to schedule the final round. this round was crazy, they barely cared about me and just wanted me to explain my model and urgently asked for recommendations. then they gave me another assessment to immediately recommend on their company's financial health. honestly, the whole thing felt like a scam, like they just wanted free work. it's also sarcastic that it's unpaid. i don't recommend this company.
- Can you start with a self-introduction, and then give us your recommendation regarding the company's financials?
