First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TOCA (CA).
Intern
It was a phone interview where they asked about my experience with various software and tech. The project lead conducted it and spent a good chunk of the time explaining the company's objective.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Business Analyst
The interview process lasted two months. Ultimately, the position was put on hold by HR. I spoke with four people and two HR representatives, making it a total of six interviews. The company made a mockery of itself by prolonging the interview process and being unable to make a decision. Their managers indicated a high turnover rate. I felt everyone was confused, and their CTO is focused on saving money rather than growing the company. I say this after nine years in the IT industry; these people are clearly incompetent and lost.
- Could you describe your experience with Business Analyst responsibilities?
Regional Director
It was in two phases and very very professional. They covered all the information from projected salary to work hours, work life balance, provided understanding of the job description and was very informative.
- Are you willing to relocate?
Guest Experience Associate
I met with the hiring manager and got a tour of the place. We had a nice chat about my background and experience, but the pay they offered was only $12-14/hr, which was a bummer. They mentioned they had to interview someone else.
