The hiring process was super simple, just one interview needed. If you know your stuff and are good at what you do, you'll do great. Just remember to explain how your past work and skills would be a good fit for the team and be ready to back up your achievements with numbers.

There were three rounds of interviews. The final interviewer, the head honcho, presents himself as a very creative individual, but strangely dislikes creativity in others. Be warned: if he asks about your dream job, do not reveal your true aspirations. Instead, claim that the job you are interviewing for is your ultimate dream.

I filled out an online application in December. It required my resume and also making me fill out my complete employment history and position descriptions online. When I got to the final page of the application, I found out that they also required submission of samples of my training materials and completion of several essay questions. This was fine, but there was no indication on the position description page that additional materials would be required. The application page was glitchy and displayed several lines repeatedly (multiple displays of the same questions). In mid-December and early January, I contacted Toastmasters by phone 7 different times and days asking to speak to someone in HR to clarify if they had received my materials. I was sent to voice mail every time. No one ever returned my calls and I was never able to speak to a person. Finally, I received a form email after 6+ weeks after submission that I was not a match. It was a frustrating experience with extremely poor customer service. I just received an email from county employment services with TI openings. I'll pass on that, thank you.

First, you will have an on-the-spot phone interview with the HR Manager. If you seem like a good fit, the team supervisors will call you for another phone interview. After passing both phone interviews, you'll come in for a face-to-face meeting with the two supervisors. Following that, you'll need to do an email simulation where you respond to three sample emails as best you can. If you do well, you'll then have a more personal chat with the Director.
