The whole interview process was pretty smooth and well-organized, and happened fast. It started with an HR screening and some initial calls. After that, I had a Zoom interview with the District Sales Manager, followed by a Zoom with a Vice President. The recruiters did a good job of being upfront about what to expect in each meeting, so there weren't any surprises.

I had a 5-hour interview block with multiple rounds back-to-back. The interviewer asked if I had any offers and I said yes, sharing the salary. I had applied for a Senior Software Engineer role, but after I shared my salary expectations, they apparently decided to interview me for a Principal/Staff Engineer position, which has a lower pay band. I only found this out at the very end when they gave me feedback. They said they liked me but don't think I'm a Principal Engineer, which wasn't what I applied for anyway, so it felt like a waste of 5+ hours. The coding challenges seemed like they were put together hastily, and one pair of female interviewers was pretty unfriendly. Overall, it wasn't a good impression of the company; they seem to lack vision and strong leadership.

It was a friendly and welcoming interview, and they gave a good description of the job. However, they couldn't tell me the hours or which store I'd be working at. I then had to go for another interview at a different store and go through the same process again.

The interview process started with a phone screen by HR, who was really helpful and gave feedback. After that, there was a super technical interview with the hiring manager. The recruiters didn't really prepare me enough for how technical the second round was.
