It was a full day thing, where I sat in on zoom calls with clients and the weekly Growth Leader meeting, met with people, had lunch, and did in-person interviews with leaders.

The interview process started with a phone call from a recruiter, followed by another phone interview with one of the owners. Then, there was a full day of interviews which gave me a taste of the job. I was a bit nervous about spending a whole day, but it turned out to be pretty enjoyable. It was cool to see how everything worked and how my role would connect with other teams. The first hour included a tour and a Myers-Briggs test. After that, I observed a group meeting and some smaller team and client meetings. I had a good chat with one owner, covering typical interview topics. I was supposed to meet another owner, but they were too busy, which is fine given how hectic it seemed. Everyone was really welcoming, and the interviewers made sure to ask if I had questions. Two people from the team I was interviewing for took me out to lunch for a casual Q&A, which was nice. It was disappointing not to get an offer, but the experience itself was pretty good. My main issue was the lack of feedback afterward. When I asked for advice on areas for improvement, the best I got was 'Wasn't a good cultural fit.' Overall, it was an interesting and positive experience.

The hiring process felt drawn out, taking a long time from when I applied to a five-hour writing test. It started with an email, then a phone call to set up a telephone interview. I got some blog guidelines that weekend, and then they had me come in the following week to do a writing demonstration. After the interview, I knew I didn't want the job because they seemed unprofessional and the office looked depressing.
