Data Scientist
A recruiter contacted me and then referred me to the hiring manager. The manager was very positive about my candidacy, even saying they hoped I'd get the position. The role was supposed to focus on machine learning and sensor data, but the interviewer shifted to asking about my experience with image processing, possibly to see if I could assist with their current work.

Intern
After you apply by sending your resume and maybe filling out a form, they'll check if you meet the basic needs. Then, some places might give you tests to see if you're a good fit. The first chat is usually with a recruiter or hiring manager to go over your background and why you want the job, could be in person, phone, or video. Next, you might have technical tests, case studies, or skill checks, often with team members. They'll also ask behavioral questions, wanting examples of how you've handled stuff before to check your skills and if you fit in. Finally, you might talk to senior people to see how you could help the company and if you're on the same page with their values.
- Can you describe your methods for staying organized and managing your time?
