Head of Corporate Actions
I saw the job ad in July 2025. First, I talked to HR, then the hiring manager in August 2025. They said there'd be a second round, but after following up a few times, I heard nothing back - no update, no rejection. After waiting more than 2 months, I sent one last follow-up, saying I was unhappy with how the process went. The HR person then replied that the position was just closed the day before I emailed, which was convenient. It was a super disappointing hiring experience from a company I thought was reputable.

Specialist, Structured Financial Services
I had a really good time interviewing with TMX Group. My first call with Rima was awesome! She was friendly, clear, and made everything easy. I liked learning more about the company and the job. I applied online and then did a Knockri assessment. After the Knockri deadline, I waited a week and then sent my resume directly. It got to the hiring manager and I got an interview two weeks later. The whole thing took about a month from my online application. I ended up taking another offer because it took too long. I was really impressed with TMX group and would be happy to consider working there in the future.

Stock Administrator
Applied online. Was asked to record my voice answering three questions that an AI would assess. Then ghosted. They've been advertising this job for almost a year; the listing gets deleted and reposted monthly. It's hard to believe they can't find anyone for this role, which is entry level and mainly involves scanning and filing. I suspect they're just fishing for resumes or training an interview AI. Don't bother.
- What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
Stock Administrator
After applying online I got a link to do an assessment. It was an AI interview through Knockri where I had to record voice answers to three "tell me about a time" questions. There was no human involved and I couldn't see the questions beforehand. I had 60 seconds to prep for each question. It was just voice recording, no video. An AI then evaluated my answers, so I doubt a person ever reviewed it. It was a weird experience and I didn't get why they did it. I feel like I could have just read my answers. I never heard back from them. I've seen more companies do this, give you a pre-interview task and then ghost you. It really makes the company look bad. If you're going to make candidates do work, at least send an automated rejection email.
- Tell me about a time when you had to complete a task under a time constraint with little supervision.
- Tell me about a time you had to learn a new technology for a job.
- Tell me about a time you had a difficult time working in a group or had a challenging group project.
